Drum Corps Night

After 10 weeks of projector screens, snacks, and the sounds of marching music's best, the weekly Drum Corps Nights will come to a close for the summer next Thursday.

Watching over 60 drum and bugle corps performances, spanning the early 70s to last year, several marching band members and alumni spent their Thursday evenings in the Broomfield band room. While enjoying videos of select performances from past DCI World Championships, the showcase for the world's elite drum and bugle corps, the students received an education on the historical roots and evolution of the activity, as well as examples of performance excellence from the world's best marching musicians.

The final Drum Corps Night will feature five shows of the students' choosing, decided by a vote of the evening's attendees.
