The Broomfield High School Winter Guard takes the artistry and skill of modern color guard and sets it in an indoor environment during the winter and spring months. Performing to recorded music, the guard uses equipment and dance skills to captivate and entertain audiences.
The Broomdield Winter Guard has a long history of presenting competitive and entertaining productions, and is a member of the Rocky Mountain Colorguard Association where the guard competes locally. Broomfield has also attended the Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

Broomfield Winter Guard continues rise in scores

One week after posting a 60.5, the Broomfield Winter Guard scored a 68.5 at the RMCGA Rampart show. The eight-point jump, the largest of the season thus far, propelled the guard into 3rd place with a score higher than any regular season contest last season.
The Winter Guard will return to Colorado Springs for their next show on March 1 at Air Academy High School.
Winter Guard places 4th at Columbine Show

Continuing its strength in the general effect caption, the Broomfield High School Winter Guard placed 4th at the RMCGA Columbine Show. The guard scored a 60.5, making it one of the strongest early season performances in recent memory.
The Winter Guard competes again next week at Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs.
Winter Guard makes 2008 debut at Lakewood Show

The Broomfield High School Winter Guard began its competitive season for the year posting a 55.9 and placing 4th in the first RMCGA contest of 2008. The guard's score topped last season's debut by more than 6 points, bolstered by strength in the general effect caption.
The Winter Guard will continue their 2008 campaign February 9 at Columbine High School.
